The list of the top mystery books to read will be incomplete without Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty. I read this book last year when I joined a book club that died after we talked about this book. I’ve read this book twice and I still can’t get over it. The books writing style was unique. The plot was well developed. The characters matched their actions. And the suspense was crazy. The funny thing is after I finished the book, I couldn’t single out a character who stood out as the main character. So yes, it’s definitely one of the top mystery books to read.

Under mounting pressure from the police and the media as well as Amy’s doting parents. Nick parades an endless series of lies, deceits and inappropriate behaviour.
